The company app that I choose is ASTRO VIEW

, created by Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd. Astro Malaysia Holdings Berhad is a leading integrated consumer media entertainment group in Malaysia and Southeast Asia with operations in 4 key areas of business, namely Pay-TV, Radio, Publications and Digital Media. This app is a mobile app. User can download for free through Google Play for android phones or App store for Apple users. Astro View is a TV guide app that can enhance our lifestyle through its function. We can view what are the programmes on TV every day, which is the popular programme and the trailers and photos of our favourite TV program. 

Astro View has several features:

1.      7 days Astro TV guide

In Astro View, it will show what programmes have in these 7 days. This is to ensure us to catch up with the best programmes and will not miss the TV programme we want to 

watch.

2.      Remote record function

We can record the TV program we want to watch by using the Astro View app. Therefore, we can watch the programme whenever we are free or watch it for several times.

    

  3.      Set reminders for programmes

We are busy for our daily life. Sometimes we might forget to do something we want to do. Astro View provides a reminder to remind us. We can set the reminders via the TV Guides schedule so we can catch up with the programme.

4.      Search for channels & programmes.

There are so many channels and programmes provided by Astro. By using Astro View, we can search for various channels and TV programmes in an easiest way.

5.      Top show

If we do not know what to watch, we can search for the top show on Astro. We can know what the latest top show is nowadays.

6.      Personalize

We can make this app personal and mark down our preferred channels so that we can access quickly to the TV programme.

7.      Social community

We can share about our favourite TV show and socialize with friends and family. Besides that, we can also know what’s going on with the channels and TV programme.

Why I think this is a good app? I am an Astro subscriber, with a smart phone that can support this app. For the past, if I want to know what programmes have on that day, I will go to check through newspaper or magazine. It is very inconvenient because I can’t always bring the newspapers and magazines wherever I go. But, after I use this app, I can get the information which I want to know easily. It saves my money and time. The record system helps me to record every programme that I like and I can watch the programmes repeatedly. It also reminds me when the programme starts. This app is very useful and powerful. This app brings a lot of advantages for us and helps us a lot.
